Is our yard yellow because we overfertilized?

Question:My beloved husband ferilized the yard without reading the bag's instructions, and now the yard is a bit yellow. Not too bad, but definitely yellowish. Is this from overfertilizing? Is there anything we can do now? Will it stay yellow, or...?

Answers:
Been there and done that. Water the lawn frequently and it will eventually recover in a month or two. Maybe it is time to go with Organic fertilizer. They don't burn grass even if you over-fertilize.

YEP.
possibly if you did not water enough afterwards.
