Who do you think makes the best diesel compact and utility tractors?
Question:I think the best tractors are (from best to worst):
1. Mahindra - because of heavy dutiness and overall excellent quality.
2. Kubota - because of reliability and overall very good quality.
3. John Deere - because of overall good quality.
4. New Holland - because of overall good quality.

Mahindra are probably the best made tractors in the world. Many Americans think John Deere tractors are the best because they are not very familiar with international brands, even though Mahindra tractors are sold in America also, and Mahindras are actually doing quite well in America. Kubotas are also better built than Deeres, but many Americans won't admit it or just refuse to believe it. Deeres are good, but just highly overrated.
Kubota by far I have one not one bad thing to say about it
I have owned a John Deere for several years. It is super tough and have never had a problem.
My second choice would be New Holland.because I like blue!
Our John Deere has been "old reliable" for over 12 years, and has paid for itself 20 times over. However, I was disappointed in John Deere's commercial mowers (but that has nothing to do with their tractors).

john deere makes the best.. i would rec a 955 4x4
John Deere makes the best equipment $ can buy. Plus if you ever need parts or service they are always there and they have topnotch service. Spend the money and get a Deere because Nothing Runs Like A Deere.
