I have an area of 8.987sqm and I want to pave it.?

Question:How many 60cm x60cm slabs would it take and how many 30cm x 30cm slabs would it take. Also what tool do I need to cut the paving slabs.

Answers:
81plus allow 3 for breakages so say 84 to round it off. You do not state the thickness of your tiles nor if they are concrete. Normal floor tiles can be cut with a tile cutter which scores the tile then breaks it apart with an even line. The thicker concrete tiles can be cut with a hammer and a cold chisel or you can hire a concrete power saw for a minimal amount. Have a good day.

a 600mm sq slab is .6x.6 m2. i.e. it's 0.36 m2.
so in a perfect world 25 slabs would do an area of 9m2. except that your area is not perfect, and unless it's exactly square - 5 slabs across by 5 slabs up, then you will have to cut some slabs, so you'll need more. can't give an exact answer without seeing a plan.
300mm sq slabs probably mean less cuts, but not definitely.
1 slab 60 square = 4 slabs 30 square.
so you need 100 slabs 300mm square (in aperfect world!).
cut with an angle grinder
9.0 square metres divided by 0.36 sq mt = 25 plus a few for cuts etc.

30 x 30 cm is a quarter the size of 60 x 60cm so you would need 100 +.

To cut them you need an angle grinder, with a masonary/concrete disc, goggles and heavy duty gloves.
