There are bugs in my garden?!?
Question:I'm a new gardener, and today I noticed little black bugs are eating the leaves in all my plants! They are little tiny black bugs, I found 14 of them on one eggplant leaf, and there are a whole bunch of holes in all the leaves. Is there an all purpose insect killer that I can put on all my plants? I have eggplant, cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, squash, corn and canteloupe planted. Please help! I put so much love and WORK into this garden, and hate to see it eaten alive!!

Sevin dust is a good all purpose insecticide.
If you prefer to go organic try this: boil 4 cups of water, place 4 cloves crushed garlic, and 2 tsp ground cayenne pepper in water, allow to steep until cool, add 1 Tbsp of dish soap, strain water into a spray bottle and mist your plants. Many pests will avoid the cayenne & the garlic, the soap will kill aphids. Good luck!
sevin insect dust its great stuff dust all plants. and retreat if necessary.
Try Seven.. You can use it as a spray, comes in liquid. Or you can shake it on as a powder.
try using bleach. spray it all over the place and i bet those bugs will go away.
Why would you want to put poison on the food you will be eating? There are stores where you can buy beneficial insects to kill the bad ones...safer and environmentally friendly. Lacewings, ladybugs and nematodes are a few that will either eat the "bad" insects or their larvae. Good luck!
