How do I grow phoenix canariensis palm from seeds?

Question:I just pulled a bunch of ripe looking seeds from a phoenix canariensis. How do I prepare these seeds for germinating? Is it easy to grow from seed? I know they're slow growing trees and I live on the mediterranean where these palms grow everywhere.

Propagation Methods:
From seed; sow indoors before last frost
Seed Collecting:
Unblemished fruit must be significantly overripe before harvesting seed; clean and dry seeds
Properly cleaned, seed can be successfully stored

*~ Good luck ~*
