My munstead lavender is not blooming!?

Question:Hi all! I planted some munstead lavender back in May. It look healthy and full, but it is not blooming? What is going on? I was really looking forward to some fragrent blooms this summer.

Answers:
Lavender must be grown in full sun to flower. Do not fertilize lavender, it needs very little in the way of fertilizers. Nitrogen causes vegetative growth over flower product. Normal bloom period for Munstead lavender is late June through August. Be patient, you may still see blooms this year. If the garden center pruned this plant before you purchased, blooming can be delayed by a couple of weeks. Typically you prune lavender after it blooms to maintain a compact, full plant.

Maybe it is too wet or shady- lavenders like sun and dryness, otherwise, not sure
