How do you care for a pandora vine?

This is a popular plant in cultivation. It is very hardy in topical to temperate regions although it may be damaged by frost during very cold winters. It is adaptable to any reasonably drained soils and will grow in full sun to partial shade, but will perform much better in direct sunlight. However, it is very vigorous and can quickly climb into the highest trees. It prefers a reliable water supply but, once established, will tolerate extended dry periods. It is an excellent species to use on fences, pergolas or trellises. If desired for use as a climber on trees, some care must be exercised due to the constrictive habit as this may inhibit or strangle younger trees as they develop. It is a vigorous woody climber found over an extensive area of eastern Australia in many differing environments.
