Is it safe to jump a lawn tractor battery with a car?

Question:

Answers:
No it isn't safe. On some tractors you can harm the electronics. You should charge the battery rather than jump it.

take the battery out and try charging it with you car then re hook it up to the mower. if she wont start it is time for a new battery.
i have done it. i was scared as heck, but dadgummit, i did it!

i hooked up to the lawn tractor battery first, and then to the car, so if the tractor battery kaboomed, i would be a little further away.

also, i have used my lawn tractor battery to jump start my car.

but if you maim or kill yourself, that's strictly on you: i don't advocate jumping anything without reading your owner's manual!
I tried it once and sparks flew everywhere!
My father hated to buy new batteries for his lawn mower so whenever it would die he jumped it with his truck. We never had a problem jumpstarting a tractor battery just be sure you hook them up correctly and good luck
