Where can i get a blue datura plant from?
Question:is it a true blue colour
Answers:
Datura's are generally white, some tinged lilac. Brugmansia are white, pink, yellow and a double flowered variety that is purple and white, no blue. Both Datura and Brugmansia are hallucinogenic but have the very bad drugs atropine and scapalomine that pretty much bugger your high. RScott

I bring tons of interesting semi-tropical plants back from the Netherlands - it's just a cheap flight to get there and there are no import restrictions. I've seen tons of Daturas, and the quality of plants generally is really high.
It's worth searching around for out of Amsterdam nurseries before you go, otherwise the central Amsterdam flower market usually has a few varieties of Daturas on sale, during the spring and summer. Prices are really good too. You end up with a holiday and some plants to bring home, so I find this a great way to travel.
Good luck! Rob
I grew these from seed several years ago. Thompson & Morgan stock the seed. They germinate quite easilly.
