How do I treat tree tumors?

Question:I recently moved into a house that has beautiful and very tall trees in the backyard, but they have these lumps all over, which seem like tumors, I'm just wondering how I could treat these.

these are burls and people who make bowls on their lathe love em...cut em off and sell them if you dont want them on your tree.
