We have little oak saplings all around our garden. when is the best time to transplant them?

Question:

Answers:
Best in Autumn / Fall because the soil still has some residual warm, second option, early Spring before new growth starts. To help, any time now onwards, put a sharp spade in a circle a short distance around the saplings so as to cu through any big roots and force a ball ot new fibrous roots to grow which will help the transplanted saplings to re-establish themselves better.

Transplant in the fall when they are dormant, but if you can't wait and have lots of them, try a few now. Just be sure to water daily.
