How do i get rid of mice in my backyard?

Question:how do i get rid of them and get them out of my landscaping?

Answers:
Get a yard cat or put a plastic owl or 2 in your yard. An owl is a natural predator of mice. Mice will avoid your yard like the plague. You can get the owls at most garden shops.

mouse traps are good.
I used to live in NJ and we had some ferrel cats, never a problem with rodents in that area
buy a snake
I would get or borrow a cat or put bounce dryer sheets in around any areas you have seen them
there are all kinds of rat and mouse poisons. get a couple of cats. They'll drive the mice out.
Adopt a cat from an animal shelter.
I'm against poison (I'm not against killing rodents with mouse traps). Poison is an AWFUL painful way to die even for a mouse or rat. Clean yard of all garbage. Put many mouse traps with peanut butter for bait or live bait traps if against killing the rodents.

Make sure there is no 'home' for them to live and no food lying around the yard. moth balls may help some. Cats could help if not a house cat spoiled. Terrier type dogs (I had a small Manchester dog that was good keeping even rats away from farm).

fence in yard. Fence into ground a few inches then up from there. Be creative & use common sense according to what your yard has & shouldn't have.
