I have some willowtrees in my backyard - i believe they are black willows?

Question:they are no where near a basement foundation but my neighbors garage is 5 feet away from them . Can the roots damage his foundation ?

Willow roots always seem to follow sources of water. So unless there is a spring under the garage or water run off issues I would say no.
