I planted a few of those cute little round water melons but the plant don't seem to be doing much growth?

Question:Any watermelon farmers out there who know the trick to beautiful melons??

All mellons require the right kind of soil, water, sun, and heat but also they tend to be late maturing so it is a little early to concede defeat.
