How long does it take for a California Poppy To Germinate?

Question:I Planted some 4 or 5 days ago, and im seeing nothing. Am I doing something wrong or is it supposed to take this long??

Thanks in advance!!

Answers:
California Poppy Seeds are naturally a bit stubborn to germinate and wait on specific climatic, seasonal and soil conditions to occur. I have listed a link to a page to find out all sorts of goodies on california poppies and growing them you will have to scrll down to the section on them. As a side note they take 4 to 6 weeks to germinate

did u soak the seeds in a cup of water for at least 18 to 24 hours before u planted them? if not just water the area for the next few days and they will be "popping" up in no time! a few more days.
