Organic plant killer using vodka?

Question:Does anyone know the formula for using vodka as a weed killer? I don't think it was 100%, maybe 50/50 with water, and some dishsoap added.

Answers:
Here's the recipe:

2 ounces Vodka
26 ounces of Water
1 teaspoon Dishsoap

This solution has been known to kill weeds because of the alcohol and dishsoap.it breaks down the waxy cuticle of the weeds which then leaves it exposed to dessication. It's not very effective on weeds growing in shady areas.

I'll take any leftover vodka after you get rid of your weeds!

Hope this helps solve your problem. GOOD LUCK!

I haven't heard of that, but vinegar works on some weeds. If you buy plain white vinegar by the gallon, it's a lot cheaper than vodka.
