Hi you don't have to, you can just let them grow and they will just grow back down the stick & you can wind it around the stick up & down
It is usually best to pinch the the top out. Helps the plant bush out.
I wouldn't ,it would cause trauma to the plant, I think. Just train
them back down the same poles. How high are your poles?
Maybe get longer ones and put them in right next to the plants
maybe an inch and a half away from the poles you have. How long are your beans supposed to get? It would be one
the package or in the catalog. You could find out online if you
know the exact name of your variety.
If you cut the top, also know as "pinching out" the top, you will cause the side shoots (stems) to grow longer and faster. Either way will produce similar yeilds. It is a matter of prefrence. And as for adding a taller pole next to it, be careful if you decide to do this so you don't harm the roots when pushing it in - it could ruin all of your hard work.
you can if you want, cos it supposed to help the plants grow thicker and sturdier, make sure you give the flowers a misting with water too, as it helps the fruit to set.
no leave them
You can pinch off the growing tips if you want which makes the plant more bushy, or you can let them just grow. Believe me they will soon find something to cling to. If you stood out there long enough they would cling to you!
