My tomato plant has only ONE tomato on it, is this normal?

I would not fertilize with anyhting containing nitrogen. Give it bone meal, and trim off every single leaf and stem that does not have a bloom by now.


Looks healthy enough. Too much nitrogen can cause your tomato plants to concentrate on growing big and bushy and ignoring it's other functions of putting out roots and creating fruit.

Look for a fertilizer with a higher third number on the label (For example, 10-10-20 or 3-3-9)

Using this will stimulate development of blossoms and then fruit.
