How do I wind the replacement string to the spool on my weed eater/trimmer?
Question:It has a double feed for two strings.

Follow the directions in the owners manual, or buy a replacement pre-strung spool from your local lawn and garden center or hardware store.
get the length of desired string, hen find the middle of the string. there should be clip in the spooll where you can secue the middle of the strig lenght if not jus wrap around the spool, the trick is that after you insert the folded in half string you wind both halves in the same direction, there might be arrows on the spool. good luck
pull the spool off the trimmer, there is a hole to catch the string on the inside of the spool either .65 or .80 I use .80 there is an arrow on the top of the spool showing the direction you wind it,
wind the bottom half first. there is a catch for it so you can wind the other side with out hassle feed the string threw the holes in the side of the trimmer housing while pushing the spool on till it clicks. pull the stings threw the housing holes to make sure they are aliened right , ie the string is feeding to the hole off the correct chamber
