How do I get spiders out of my car?
Question:I park my car in the driveway and it is next to a tree. I have nowhere else I can park. I live accross the street from a school and the road in front of my house is no parking. Anyways I have spiders from that d@m tree living in my new truck. Every morning I am clearing out spider webs. The spiderwebs are everywhere. What can I do to get rid of the spiders I have in there right now and what can I do to keep them out. I can not cut the tree down, the wife won't let me. Please help me.
Answers:
COVER THE INSIDE AND OUT OF YOUR CAR WITH SURFACE SPRAY, THAT SHOULD PISS THEM OFF
Cut it down anyways. She should understand. She's a women and women hate spiders.
Long acting surface spray on the outside & inside of the car. When leaving the car, close all the vents & windows so they can't get in as easily.
call spiderman
Try letting off a bug bomb in the car. Not sure how well it'll treat your interior, but it would definitely do the job.
As for keeping them out for good, try a barrier type spray. Mortein have a super strength one that you are meant to spray around the exterior of your house every few months or so, which apparently keeps bugs out. Might be worth a shot.
Use osage orange (also called hedgeballs or mock oranges). Spiders have their taste buds on the tips of their legs and this orange gives off such a powerful scent, they flee. They can't stand it. Although it is quite pleasant to us! :) Set a few around your car, and you'll be amazed! I use these throughout my basement and haven't seen a spider since! :)
(be sure to remove them before they rot!)
