How long does it take for sunflower to grow?

Question:About a week ago, i planted several seeds on a plant pot with good soil. And watered it, but not a lot. And still no growing plant! Should I water it in the morning and at night with a full one cup-two cup?

Answers:
Takes approx 14 - 21 days for sunflower seeds to germinate, depending on the type of S. flower, and weather & water conditions.
My sunflower package says Sow in open well exposed soil.
I have the Girasol Mixed colors that grows to about 4 1/2 feet

Keep it well drained and the soil wet. Don't water it too much.

My sunflowers seemed to take a long time to come up but after about a month of growing they are about 12" tall. They are very cool plants. Mine are the giant type and should grow about 12 feet tall. I can't wait!

It will take about three weeks for your flowers to begin growing depending on how deep you planted the seeds.

I found sunflowers growing under the bird feeder, so I transplanted them into a wooden box filled with Miracle Grow potting soil when they were about 4 inches tall. With watering and sun, they were a foot tall within a couple of weeks.
If you water them like anything else you should see good growth in about 30 days and fantastic flowers after another 30.
Is it in full sun? Mine only took a few days to start to grow. I watered them once when I planted them but not sense! It also rains here so I'd say once a week with the water, maybe and full sun and you should see some growth. p.s. mine are planted in sandy soil.
Depends on how deep you planted the seed for how long it takes for it to germinate and then reach the top of the soil level for you to see it. Be patient it should peek out above ground in a few weeks. Water it every 3-4 days for the first couple of weeks, just enough to get the ground really wet all around it. Like it would be if it rained there.
Takes about a week , so up soon . If you are going to transplant them into the ground, be careful , they don't tolerate root disturbance well.
