How do you get rid of a horse flies nest and/or horse flies?

Question:

Answers:
Raid or black flag, spray the nest it will work great

Burn their wings at night then stomp them.I have done that to wasp and bees nests and it works. Then put up those fly strips for them to stick to...
If you know where the nest is you have a shot at this. Wait until night and spray both the exterior and pierce the nesting with a solution of Sevin. While not Organic some problems call for chemicals. We do not treat serious health problems with Aspirin. These flies can be a serious health problem!
At night the vermin generally nest, thus, the night treatment. The later the better. During the day mix a solution of one cup of Pure Ivory Liquid Dish Detergent per gallon and mix well. In either a sprayer unit or squirt bottle spray the bug. It will suffocate them and is Organic. This solution will not do what you want in your midnight spray. You need to eliminate then reduce. The Ivory will reduce but not eliminate. Hope it helps.
