What are good native perennials to Indiana?


Question:I am redoing my back garden and want the majority to be native perennials. so far all i have are some purple cone flower aka echinacea. I have a redbud planted in the garden also which shades about half of it. Any recommended plants?

You have a lot of choices for Indiana! Maybe try Columbine, Asters, Cardinal Flowers or blue Phlox in the part sun-shade areas. Maybe Coreopsis, Blazing Stars or Black Eyed Susans in the full sun. You can go to http://www.inpaws.org/2005landscapebroch...
