Ornamental Pepper Planting Depth?

Question:I recently bought seeds on eBay for the Black Pearl Ornamental Pepper. Came with growing information, but not a depth at which to plant the seeds. Anyone have experience with growing them or other ornamental peppers? What is the Planting Depth?

Answers:
The general rule for planting seeds is to plant them no more than two times the diameter of the seed below ground.

I plant all my peppers half their stem deep, in other words, about 2 in. beneath first leaves. This will give them a good, strong stalk which will help them hold up when the peppers start coming in. Happy Planting!!
