What are some good plants, to plant, under ever green trees?

Question:I know that the plants need to be able to tolerate high acid soil. Also, the area receives no sun light.

Answers:
i have the same kind of yard...

hosta's (sp?) and lilies work best for me. the lillies thrive the best.

Rhododendrons
english ivy, st. john's wort, and perwinkle all work nicely. And ferns will also do well. Try and plant where the soil hasn't been turned into a desert by "rain shadow" from big trees.
Wandering Jew. its deep purple in color and very hearty. It will keep unwanted plants and weeds from growing.
Generally speaking you could use acid loving plants like rhododendrons, azaleas, and for a cover plant maybe vinca.
Hostas in you are in the midwest.
Daylily. Hardy perennial. They do better in sun but tolerate shade VERY well. They thicken up & spread out then will even choke weeds out. Be careful or they will spread into your yard.
