Will my fushia die if i put it in the ground?

Question:

Answers:
It should do fine planted in the ground if you have good soil. It never hurts to dig in a little compost when you plant it just to give it a little extra advantage. Of course at first frost it will be done, but it should be beautiful up until then.

I live in Scotland UK and planted out 4 a fortnight ago. The weather has been atrocious for this time of year, with low temperatures one day, hot and humid the next and torrential rain in between. They are all doing great amazingly.
It depends on how acclimated the plant is. If it has always been kept inside it might go into shock if planted. We have a fushia planted, but it was acclimated by the time we got it.

If you have had it inside, take it outside to a partly shady spot and leave it in its pot, watering as needed, and let it get used to the climate.

We live north of you, in southern Michigan.
it will only last for the summer, first frost and it will be gone.
