I have one of those green plants that grow w/little care. the leaves are burned all of a sudden, why is that?

Question:

Answers:
Is it an indoor plant or an outdoor plant?
Can you give us some more description?

I'm going to guess that it is a Philodendron and that maybe it is getting too much sun. Philodendrons only need indirect light and will do nicely under or near a indoor light source. If it is outside make sure it is in the shade. See if that will help.

Hosta maybe? to much sun and not enough water.
