What might be eating my angel trumpets?

Question:The leaves of my angel trumpet have lots of holes in them and there are pellets that look like bug droppings. I can't see any bugs, but something is eating the hell out of my tree!

Also, what is a good fertilizer to use? What numbers do trumpets like?

Answers:
Holes and pellets usually mean slugs or snails. Try moving any ground cover nera the trunk looking for the culprit. They feed at night - You could also go back at night looking with a flashlight.

Look for bugs and slugs that look really "stoned" and out of it, they're the culprits! RScott
It could be Japanese beetles. You can buy Japanese beetle traps at Lowes or your local hardware store
