look in the yellow pages for a landscape company that deals in watergardens or aquascapes. sometimes a farm supply store can get them. check the internet and pet stores. koi are pretty common so they should not be too hard to find.
If you can find a pet store that mainly only sells fish, and they do exist. I believe you will have some luck there.

So, you need to take safety measures to protect the KOI if you buy any. There was a resent News Report of man that had large Koi Pound in Stockton Ca lost all his very Expensive Fish to Critters; Not Human Kinds either. Yes, polic, Fish & Game where called in to report the mans loss. However could not help Mother nature acts not proscutable. If animals are Protected species, Cranes manely: Good Luck-Koi pounds are Great Enjoyment for Adults and kids to watch those Fish on Cool Evenings, of Hot summer Days.
