Can teak trees grow in the U.S?

Question:Specifically the African Teak tree - iroko tree (Chlorophora excelsa).

Answers:
you could probably grow teak in south Florida Hawaii and pert Rico.. i don't know if you would be able to bring in seedlings from Africa..teak is indigenous to the tropics and if you are in Miami you could probably do it however if you wanted a plantation you would be spending some money on property
