Will a gravel / stoned drive ruin my car?
Question:Going to get the driveway done soon and was thinking of yellow stone, but does anyone have problems with theirs? Will it flip up and scratch car, will it flip out into the road?

The only thing I find with mine is that some of the gravel goes off onto the tarmac and makes a bit of a mess!
Yes it will and most especially the underside which will be undersealed. When the underseal chips away then it is vulnerable to road salt in winter.
The remedy is to drive over gravel real slow and no wheel spin.

Country roads are made of limestone. The stone will flip up if you are going fast, but not slowly into a driveway. The stones will go all over your lawn, the road and sidewalk and have to be replaced every few years. If you are in a subdivision, the zoning board or HOA will not allow it. Everyone in the country has one.
the answer is yes yes and yes ..it will do all of these and more ..it will also be very noisy .. it looks good at first but it will soon get dirty .. and you will carry it into the house ..short answer ..dont !
Your car should come to no harm, as long as you moderate your speed and don't use the drive as a race track. Gravel will only flip into the road if your drive is on an incline and users not so good with their clutch control wheelspin as the try to negotiate the slope, same goes if they 'skid' to a halt each time they need to stop.
If you drive slowly, you won't have any problems. My road is gravel, and our neighbors drive to fast on it. While I have never inspected the bottom of their cars, you can hear the stomes hitting the undersides, so I am guessing the paint and body work is being damaged. They are also the cause of having to occasionally re-rake the gravel from tire pits and potholes that they make from going too fast.
Gravel drives are O.K. but you have to make sure the stones are exactly the right size. Our are inclined to stick in the tyres. They don't damage the car but they do get into the road.
I think that rather depends on the durability of the tyres.
