Will granny smith apple tree bear fruit w/out another tree to pollinate?

Question:

Answers:
Yes it will bear fruit.

I can't give you all the science involved in it, but I will give you a down to earth one.

In looking for apple trees for my grandpa I read the tags to see some more information on the tree, and no where on it said anything about planting another tree. With this said, it would make sense that none is required.

You could always just ask a person at the nursery when you buy the tree.
