Will my aloe pup that has roots survive in it's new pot?

Question:Hi, i wanna did to now if my patridge breast aloe (aloe variegata) pup will survive when i transplanted it in it's new pot it has one root and i twisted the pup right away from the mother plant and it came out with one root and there was a piece missing because when i twisted the pup it came out with one root and part of the stem got damaged at the bottom so even if there is an injury on the stem the pup should still survive?

Answers:
It should be able to survive without any problems. You need to make sure it's in good soil. The best thing to use is worm castings a.k.a. vermicast or else GOOD QUALITY potting soil. These soils time-release water and nutrients to your plants to make sure they get what they need when they need it. This way there won't be a problem with too much or too little water. you can find the stuff locally at www.1800TOPSOIL.com to see if they have someon local. They're national. Good luck!

I have never seen any member of the cactus family die when a piece is taken off. I mean, EVERY piece i have taken and replanted has survived quite well! I have never tried a PB aloe, but I'm sure it will be just fine. Just don't over-water it.

I hope this helps!
You have a better chance with any aloe or cactus compared to other flowers and plants. They say your chance is usually 50-50 with most plants. Hope for the best. I have had a few die and a few not with my aloes.
Yes it will grow. Don't forget to feed & water it. After transplanting dom't let it get in the sun. Every few days gradually move it toward the sun. That way it won't get sun burned
