Any suggestions on what to plant?
Question:We'd like to plant a bush behind our house - I'm looking for something that'll be about 3-4 feet high, doesn't need a lot of pruning, and flowers. Preferably it won't attract a lot of bees (I know some are inevatible, but some plants tend to attract them more than others...). I know nothing of plants and would like some ideas. If you could include a link with a picture that would be great!

if it's a shady area hydrangeas or viburnum would be good with beautiful blooms( the color of the blooms depends on the acidity of the soil). would take some pruning to keep them shapely and so they won't grow too high. acuba japonica(regular or variegated is also nice). thing is with these guys is they don't bloom but are very attractive and can get the desired height you're looking for. the pruning just depends on how high you want it. with both 4 to 5 ft. high is about standard.
Well, if you are too lazy to research shrubs online, do you think you will have enough gumption to actually plant the shrub?
I am lazy too :)

How much sun does this area get? Which plant-hardiness zone are you in (depends on the general location of your city of a particular state). A few shrubs that come to mind: Dwarf Fothergilla, Spirea, Dwarf Lilac. Of course, this depends on the amount of sun...
For Shrub Flowering plant I would suggest like Marigold, Chrysanthemum and four'o'clock will be lovely with fragrance too.
For Herbs, Rosemary and Sage are great plant whoch you will save it for cooking in future.
