Ugly earwigs are coming in my bathroom and bedroom!!?? r they harmless?

Question:hi i have recently found some earwigs in my bedroom and wash room. i try my best to kill them but they keep coming. its not alot maybe like 3 - 2 but i have a question. are they really attracted into going in your ear then planting eggs and eating up ur brian?? i been hearing these creepy rumors about earwigs falling out a humans ear and i would like to know if its true.

Answers:
They're harmless. Since they prefer cool, moist places, a rolled up damp newspaper placed where earwig activity is suspected can be effective in collecting & discarding them. Sprinkle diatomaceous earth around baseboards & window frames to deter them. Try to keep soil dry around the foundation of the house & remove rotting material (like leaves), which they love to eat. Sharp, scratchy material (like Lava rock, diatomaceous earth) around the foundation would also prevent them from coming in.

No, that's just a myth. They are actually harmless. They eat decaying plant matter. I get them in my house too and even though they are harmless they creep me out. I get Spectracide bug spray and spray it around the outside of my house every year and that seems to keep them out. Good luck!
They are harmless. Must of rained good where you are. They make good catfish bait.
