Post pulling?

Question:Does anyone know ho wto construct a "post puller" for tposts for an electric fence? We have hundreds all around the property from years ago that are still in okay shape and we need to pull them! Any ideas?!

THANKS :)

Answers:
I used to hook 'em to the towbar of the ute, and pull them out by driving forward- plus you can buy post pullers at most rural stores/co-ops...

I used an automobile bumper jack (old fashioned) and a chain. Just wrap the chain around the post, hook it to the jack and lt will lift right out of the ground unless it is set in concrete. If it is in concrete just buy an inexpensive grinder and cut if off ground level.

Tractor Supply or most any store that carries farm and ranch equipment sell a T-post puller. They are not expensive. Here in Texas they cost less than $30.

It relys on leverage to pull the post and they are very effective. Just need a little muscle. If you need more leverage, fashion a "cheater bar" which is a length of pipe that will fit over the handle of the puller.
