Is there rice on my Tomato plant?

Question:I looked at my tomato plant this morning and noticed something that looked like a bunch of rice grains on the leaf of my plant. I know its not rice, but it looks like it. Its very white and they are stuck on a leaf, just one leaf. Does anyone know what it could be? Is it harmful to the plant or me?

Answers:
remove that leaf and burn it to be sure or just throw it into the trash

don't compost it

It sounds like aphids, to me. Go to hardware store and buy Sevin Dust and dust your plants. This should take care of the bugs. Good luck!
