What is the best filter system you get to make ya pond clear?

Question:

Answers:
You need a good "main" filter to house the bio-filters (the aerobic bacteria) and a UV sterilizer for the green-water, pea-soup making algae.

You need to make sure that the filters are adequate for the size of your pond and what kind of "life" you wish to host in it. (Fish, plants, etc.)

Some good companies:

Beckett
Cyprio
Pond Master
Tetra Pond
CalPump

Definitely a u/v...Turned my pea soup crystal clear!
hi new to this web site seen your question try new staw in a onion sack or carrot sack compress straw into sack and tie securily and submerge in pond ok good luck
If left alone it will clear itself, don't make the mistake of changing the water because it's all to do with pH balance. Oxgenating plants help and just use an ordinary pump and filte, clean regularly and eventually it will become crystal clear. I don't know if your pond is in shade or sun, shade is better.
when i had my pond i had three filter chambers, all connected together,in the 1st chamber i had gravel,in the 2nd a product called flo core.(pieces of ribbed plastic pipe).in the 3rd it was layered with sponge matting, all this with a u.v. connected prior to the water entering the 1st chamber,my pond was like fresh spring water all year round. if you haven't all these chambers your local aquatic centre will steer you in the right size u.v filter, for the size of your pond. they are brilliant, and once fitted you will see the rewards in a week and a half,to two weeks.good luck.
