Go to Home Depot, or somewhere similar. There are pesticides for ants. Follow the instructions. (Sprinkle the powder over the areas where there are ants.) Problem should be solved shortly.

Either move.or get some poision for the ground...and then take to the suface dwellers with hair spray and a lighter.

i have used grants for inside and that works pretty well, but maybe it will work outside too.
Buy any white poweder ant killer poison. Pour it right on ant hill/area. They'll move just follow them with more poison till they're all gone!
Find the ant hill and poor bleach down it.
Go and have a talk with your local council and ask them what you can do about them. They are usually very helpful with these sort of inquiries.
get a empty spray bottle add 2 spoons full of boric acid( ask your pharmacist for it) and 2 spoons full of sugar add warm water to fill bottle and shake till sugar is dissolved then spray lightly on ant hills every day if you spray too much the ants will move farther down into the ground the ants will eat the mixture and take it back to their queen and will poison the whole colony it really works if you are persistent it is also inexpensive
I have the same problem! I went to Home Depot and bought a bottle of Triazicide. It's there with all the other weed and inset killers. It's a liquid that you mix with water -- follow the instructions on the bottle. It seems to be working very well so far. You don't need to use much of the concentrate and according to the bottle it works for up to 2 months. It's under $10.00, so it's reasonably priced. Good luck!
