Tall Hollyhock?

Question:I have some different Hollyhock growing against a wall and they get to about 4 feet every year and right before they bloom the fall over from the weight of the blooms. Does anyone have any solutions for this problem?

Answers:
I have had the same issue in the past, I usually get landscape sticks and put them about a foot into the ground. Once they are stable, I will use tie-downs to connect the hollyhocks with the landscape sticks. You can get green sticks and tie-downs so they will not detract from the overall look of the garden.

Tie them up so they don't fall over. Just use twine.
