Question:
Answers:
they sound like aphids
to get rid of aphids on my roses, I mix 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap with about a pint of warm water... mix well, then place in a spray bottle, and mist the plant well, making sure to cover the bugs with the mist. the soap will dry out the aphids and they will die.
you can use commercial pesticides too, which are available at home and garden stores
They are aphids i think and lady bugs eat them!
ya they sound like aphids [or however u spell it ] we use dish soap and water in a spray bottle . like a teaspoon to one spray bottle of water .
You didn't say how big.
Best guess is that they are Japanese beatles. They run about 3/4 inch long and have an iredescent shine. At any lawn and garden store you should be able to get either an insecticide or traps. As at the lawn and garden store.
HI, I agree with livinginthe world it sounds like aphids, Get some ladybird bugs from the Biological whole sales department, ask you technician at school or college they might be able to give you an address. You will have to move the plant indoors and keep it there before you add the ladybirds otherwise they will fly away and the bugs will return. If you want to feel brazen squeeze them between you fingers as you run them up the stalk. Its a very funny feeling after all you are killing living animals.I know yuck, yuck and yuck again there are few pesticides which work as the breed quickly, every 5 hours a new batch is laid. They are the rose grower nightmare.
they are called antphibs and you should spray your flower buds with antifungal soup to keep them from sucking the juice from the flowers.
