Answers:
A lush hosta or a ''sweet william'' or a coreopsis. or while you are shopping do look at house plants. If you want to go simple african violets are opoular but they are house plants.I she loves gardening then don't worry anything ''GREEN'' would make her happy..plant as a gift is an awesome idea!

If she's an avid gardener, she may not want a permanent plant as a gift. She probably has her own plans for her landscape. Try a hanging basket, like a fuscia, instead.
Give her a Camelia. Its like a rose bush. And you can get it in red or pink.It blooms in the spring. And it can be in a pot.Or in the ground.
