Get a wire coat hanger and pull it into a diamond shape. Cover it with a leg of pantyhose and tie it off at the hanger hook. Straighten out the hanger hook and duct tape to a pole, stick or whatever you have available. Cost: Free. Effectiveness: that of a $50 pool net.
