A view of the lake?

Question:Some neighbors who live one block back from our lovely beach, built a patio and sliding glass doors, so they could see the lake view from their dining room.
Now, the neighbors who live between them and the beach have built a very high prvacy fence. Totally blocks their view.
How would you handle this?

Answers:
Well...you could build an elevated deck that soars above theirs.

With style.
Or you could try shock and awe.
id talk to them and most likely rip it down myself.lol
I'm not sure what anyone could do about this unless the neighbors acted against local ordinance in putting up their fence.
Similar thing happened to me, so I'm working on making my yard a place of beauty rather than dwelling on the lost view and the hideous fence!
I'm planting trees as fast as I can afford them and planning on making yearly improvements to my yard so that I can continue to enjoy the view from my new atrium door.
i guess it kinda depends on where the lies on the property line.
if its on their side you can't do anything
if its on your side you can tell them to either take it down or take it down yourself
if right on the property line you can try talking to them and work it out like maybe ask them to lower their fence a foot or so
after that it all depends on the friendliness of each nieghbor twords each other.
Termites, Fire, Chainsaw, Explosives, Graffiti, Chain Attached to a trailer hitch, all will work if used properly. I would try talking to them and explaining how I felt about it. If that didn't work then I would resort to the previous solutions.
