When growing peas?

Question:after picking the 1st crop will more pods appear or is the plant finished

Answers:
Continue picking and they'll keep producing for a long time.

Peas are a continuos producer. They germinate themselves repeatedly.
Already picked my 2nd crop from the same plants. Planted more 2 months apart so will have harvest till Oct.
no once the pods have been taken off the plant has finished,,good luck with the gardening...
they will keep coming as long as you pick them all as they ripen/mature...
the plant knows when a certain amount have grown to maturity and then stops producing more flowers but until then it can go on for months!!
so if you go away for morew than a few days, make sure you get someone to pick tehm for you..
each flower produces a pod so if you still have flowers or flowers that have died you will get more peas. at this time of year you should have plenty yet still to come, enjoy
Peas will keep producing right through the summer, the more you pick the more you will get.
