Question:Please don't laugh at me - a new homeowner trying to buy what do you use a leaf blower for?
Answers:
1. To blow leaves into neater piles to pick up.
2. To blow grass clippings off your sidewalk and driveway.
3. To blow dust out of your garage (hey, it works for me).
4. (Not) to blow leaves into your neighbor's yard.
I bought a combination shop vac/leaf blower and I love it.
I see older or lazy people using them instead of a broom to blow leaves or dirt off from their sidewalks and driveways.
That isn't lazy at all! Some of us older folks like them when you have a disability you may eat your words! Leaf blowersa are mainly used for blowing fallen leaves and debri from the lawn, driveway and other areas as needed as opposed to using a rake and a broom.
I use it to clean off my sidewalks after I mow.
To blow leaves.I think.
well, it's called a LEAF...BLOWER. so id say it's for blowing leaves...when you don't wanna take the time to rake
The leaf blower is for fall. You can "blow" away all those leaves in your yard. Make sense?
I've always wanted to use one inside my home.
For blowing leaves and other debris off driveways or walkways. They are noisy, better off to use a broom or a rake if you can.
Well I had a smart remark to your question, and I bet you could have guessed what it was,but I than read the whole question and it sounded so sweet. You use a Lawn Leaf Blower for cleaning up leaves that have fallen into the flowerbeds. It can get behind the plants and in tight areas that leaves collect. Also there great for cleaning up the grass clippings a Lawn Mower might leave behind. I use ours to blow the water out off of my car ,after washing it. It gets the water out of areas ,that won't come out until you drive it,or roll down your window.(You know what I mean)Bye,& Congradulations on your new house!
These are all great answers, except that LOSER "chick killer"
I just wanted to add that I also use mine for blowing away light fluffy snow off my walkways during the winter, and I'm not elderly or diabled, it's just easier and faster than shoveling.
Congrats on the new house
to clean off any thing you do not want to rake or sweep.
I use mine to clean off the roof and clean out the gutters
1. Clean You Car: Ever try to vacumn your car and still have places that you can never reach? Leave Blower is the answer.
I open all 4 doors in my sedan, remove all the mates. I set the leave blower to high and blow everything out of the oppsite door. I went to the next door and repeat and so on. Repeat this process twice or three times until no more dust stuck in any hard to reach area.
It works great on my miniVan too. Works great in cleaning the map pockets on the driver side door.
2. Blow leave off the roof and gutter when raining season is over and the debris are dried. Better than water pressue gun.
Instead of raking people use a leaf blower.
Blow all the leafs into a pile, then stuff them in an over sized paper bag, put it out on garbage day.
As most everyone has already stated it is in essence to blow leaves and to use for easy clean up. If you have a corner where the fence and house meet you can try to blow the leaves in that direction so that you can then rake them up. Use the fallen leaves or grass clippings for compost. If you can find a way of shredding them they make a good mulch for your flower beds
