Why aren't my jalepenos hot this year?

Question:They're the same plants planted in the same pots on the same terrace but they taste just like green peppers. The bushes are full and green. It's only their second season and last year they produced some peppers that could really light you up.

Answers:
jalapenos are hotter when the weather is dry and hot. Reduce your watering, and hope the later part of the summer is hotter. e

too much water less water the hotter
it's been a cold summer?
It is a little early in the year for hot jalapenos. Jalapeno plants need hot dry sunny weather to produce the really "light you up" peppers.
