Anyone know where I can get a "fruit ladder"?

Question:We have fruit trees, and the apricots are soon going to be ready... we need a fruit ladder desperately. any idea's??

Answers:
-E Bay?
-Make acquaintance with a fruit farmer and so then borrow one
-Hire shops (including platforms, hoists, and cherry pickers)
-Local Yellow pages for "arborist/ tree surgeons"
-Local plasterboard fixers- they have these cool-as, strap on mini stilts their guys use when ceiling sheathing- borrow some in exchange for some fruit

Here is a sight that you can check out for ladders. http://www.eladders.com/ and http://www.leandernet.com/ladders/little... also you should check out your hardware stores. Sometimes they have ladders that are just as useful and less expensive. I just use a regular ladder to pick my cherries from my tall tree. I usually have to set it sideways next to the tree and then bend the branches just a bit. My tree is still too thin to hold a fruit ladder against it. Hopefully yours is grown enough so that you don't have an accident. ;) Good luck!
