Help with brick pavers?
Question:I'm laying down brick pavers and I've already got them down and the sand in between them, but the sand keeps blowing out. I've also tamped it down with a plate compactor. Wikipedia says I should use a sealer, but doesn't list any examples. I just need to know the names of some sealers I could use.
Answers:
If your joints need to be resanded use polynemeric sand. You sweep this sand in like regular sand and then mist it with water and the sand turns hard. It also stops weeds from growing in between the pavers.
They will have the answer at Lowes.

Okay, you need to use a polynermic sand, it hardens like concrete between the bricks.
Don't ask a "home improvement store" for advice, your best bet is to talk to your local stone / brick dealer. However, Depot and Lowes both sell the polynermic sand, as well as your local brick / paver dealers.
It is expensive, but worth it.

Water the sand with a hose to help prevent it from blowing away. Sand is important.
We did a walkway last week and the water to the sand helped alot.
You can buy a special mix of sand and mortar made specifically for this use. It comes in a number of colours to match pavers. It comes in bags like cement and your sweep it over the pavers leaving a residue in the cracks and then water it. It then sets. Whoever sold you the pavers will be able to advise you on where to purchase this.
