How do i remove the gas from a lawnmower?
Question:from my Craftsman lawnmower?
Answers:
disconnect the feeder hose and drain thru there.
Turn it upside down or disconnect the fuel line.
siphon it.
Use those siphon pumps I believe you can find at a hardware store, im not sure where you can get them.
Be aware it may take a while, but it will take absolutely ALL the gas out, so its efficent.
Here is a video on how to do it amigo. Hope this helps. It's better to watch it then read about it.

siphon it out
The fuel line on mine is just held on with a spring clamp and you can pull it off and drain it there. I let the motor run until the float bowl in the carb is empty too.
Turn it upside down. If it is a riding mower, the gas hose is easy to take off the carbeurator and drain it into a can.
The easiest way is to start it and let it run the gas all out.
there is the dangerous old fashioned way, where you take a long tube/hose, place it in the tank and suck on it until it starts to flow, or you can get a big turkey syringe/ baster and use the bulb on the hose to draw the liquid up.
Siphon it out into a tank so you can reuse it.
use a hand pump..when you have pumped out all you can then just turn it upside down and and drane the rest out...
tip it over or use a turkey baster
Try an old turkey baster...if you're looking for cheap
I turn mine upside down, then after you turn it right side up-start it up until it runs out of gas.
I run it dry to get it all out, if it won't start, and just has a little in it, take off the cap and set it in the sun, it will evaporate. You can also use a rolled up paper towel to pull it out, but if it is hot, that towel may spontaneously combust (neat to see, but certainly not safe!)
